Henderson Harbor
October ILCA / Laser Regatta

Skippers Meeting: 1100 hours.
First Race 1200.
Location: Henderson Harbor Yacht Club

Fee: $10.00. Proceeds donated to Henderson Water Sports Programs, Inc.
Eligibility: Open to all Laser and ILCA sailboats and sailors, old and new.. big and small. If 3 or more of any type arrive, we will score separately. (full rig, radial, etc.) Safety and Responsibility: Sailors are required to wear proper approved life vests. Other Safety equipment is at the discretion of individual competitors. Rules: Racing will be governed by the most current US Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing, unless otherwise noted. Starts: 3-minute Dinghy Sequence. Courses: Lots of racing on smaller windward-leeward courses! Penalties: One (1) 360Ëš turn is required of boats that foul marks or other boats. Protests will be solved via ‘3 Minute Justice’ after racing has concluded, if necessary... A wise sailor once said, “If by winning the race you have lost the respect of your fellow teammates competitors, then you have not won at all.” (Paul Elvstrom) Scoring: Low point system. If six (6) or more races are sailed one (1) throw out will be awarded per competitor. Festivities: Will begin promptly after racing. Pizza will be provided. BYOB.
